Ardfern Yacht Centre is located at the head of Loch Craignish, one of Scotlands most beautiful and sheltered sea lochs. It has several islands and natural anchorages and the yacht centre has an interesting history having been developed around an old pier where steamers and puffers once called.

Ardfern is an ideal base for cruising the west coast of Scotland; it is easily accessible by road, has no tidal access problems or lock gates and is perfectly located either for gentle local sailing, or more adventurous cruising to the Hebrides or even remote St. Kilda.

The village of Ardfern has an excellent provisions store and a choice of eating places, including a hotel with bar and restaurant. Horse riding, cycling, walking and golf are all available  locally.

  • At the yacht Centre we have pontoon berths and swinging moorings with "bring alongside" service for crew arriving tired or late by road! Our shore facilities include toilets, showers, laundry and even an ice machine

  • There are listings  of a wide range of yachts and motor vessels in our brokerage service

  • We have slipping facilities for yachts and commercial craft up to  20 tons in our "travel lift" boat hoist.

  • A vast hard stand area provides our winter storage ashore and a full "winterising" service is provided.

 

 

  • Our boat building expertise includes interior refits, teak deck repairs, osmosis protection and rectification, re-planking and polyurethane painting .

  • On site engineers and riggers provide repair work, re-engining services and re-rigging.
