Anti-Torsion Rope - This rope is made specifically to resist twisting. The application is for foresail luff line when using furling gear. Anti-torsion rope has a unique torsional stability that transmits the furling gear rotation direct to the head of the sail. The rope is a triple fibre composite rope constructed to resist torsional forces from furling gear. It has a twisted aramid yarn core rope, braided in an 8 plait stable form to provide high strength and low extension. The aramid core is contained within a monofilament sleeve that retains the core and provides the resistance to twisting. Over the monofilament sleeve is a sheath of twisted polyester yarns laid hard onto the intermediate sleeve to give stability and resistance to external abrasion. This rope is ideal for use with the Profurl Flying Sail range of furlers. Chafe-Pro® - commercial grade mooring units are made from ballistic grade nylon to protect your lines from abrasion. Able to protect more than one line in a chock, Chafe-Pro® is flexible and follows the contour of the line, protecting lines from dock abrasion and ship abrasion caused by fairlead across decks.
